With over 40 years on the frontline of marine conservation Sea Shepherd’s direct action campaigns provide us with firsthand knowledge and insight into the many issues impacting the ocean and marine wildlife.

Through our education program we aim to share that experience with teachers and students around the world. 

Sea Shepherd’s new LessonUp channel is designed to provide free resources for secondary and primary school teachers and students on marine conservation topics, from illegal fishing to plastic pollution. These resources include lesson plans and presentations, case studies from Sea Shepherd campaigns and lesson activity ideas to enhance learning.

In the coming months new resources will be released covering additional topics for primary and secondary school students, along with resources for pre-school through to junior primary school.  

The learning platform includes some fun activities for young ocean warriors. 

Sea Shepherd has the unique opportunity to share with the next generation the knowledge and understanding of what is threatening the future of the ocean and marine wildlife. Showing this generation the need to take action and fight for the future of our planet and create and develop solutions to make a change.
