Recruiting: Database and marketing automation administrator

Thursday, 14 Jul, 2022

Sea Shepherd is an international non-profit organisation whose sole mission is to protect marine wildlife. The organisation was founded in 1977 by the Canadian conservationist Paul Watson. He was the first man to throw himself between a whale and harpoon with a rubber boat. With this act, he attracted worldwide attention. Nearly 45 years later, direct action on the open sea is still Sea Shepherd's trademark.

Sea Shepherd is recruiting a database and marketing automation administrator. You will be responsible for performing all activities related to maintaining a successful database environment to make sure that our database and its related applications such as our marketing automation tools operate functionally and efficiently.

We are looking for a Salesforce (and ideally marketing automation tool Mautic) super user. You will report into the Fundraising director, be part of our small but growing fundraising team and work very closely with our Communications and Partnership teams. You can also rely on support or training of agencies where necessary.

Sea Shepherd Global has a growing database of supporters and donors. We are looking to scale up our supporter and donor programs. We need someone who can help support this work using Salesforce and Mautic, by helping with the integration of our various digital tools and optimising our digital infrastructure as well as digital processes, analytics and reporting.

It would be helpful if you have some experience working for an (environmental) INGO. A good work ethic is a must, as the successful applicant will be working mostly from home, preferably in a European time zone.
